Our Cat Adventures |

| We never thought that with the arrival of
our first Maine Coons, we would ever set foot in a show ring. But
as time went by it seemed the next logical step. Our mentor told
us we needed to go to some cat shows, learn the rules and after a while
go to a show solo and get our feet wet. We learned and learned and
bathed and bathed and we finally took our Maine Coon Polydactyl girl to
our first show on our own. We learned what we did right and we
learned what we did wrong, but most of all we had great fun. Below
are some of the shows we have attended and the fun times we had. |

| Europe 2006:
My son and I had the great privilege to go to The Netherlands and
Germany to attend 2 cat shows. It was the trip of a
lifetime. We met many friends we had only chatted with and many
new ones also. We didn't take our cats but had the honour to agent
and show some cats attending. Great fun was had by all! Our
first show was in Woerden,
The Netherlands, hosted by Cats and Tulips. Our second
show was the TICA Annual in Hannover Germany. The first TICA
Annual outside North America. |
